About
This course explores how early childhood trauma and insecure attachment patterns lay the foundation for problematic sexual behaviors (PSB). Drawing from Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), students will learn how unresolved pain and nervous system dysregulation drive compulsive sexual patterns—not as moral failings, but as survival strategies. This course offers a trauma-informed and compassionate framework for understanding PSB and introduces integrative pathways to healing that foster emotional regulation, secure connection, and personal responsibility.
